Spring Edition: Make up must-haves

In our previous posts, we have seen this Spring's must-haves when it comes to Fashion  and  Nails 

This article is all about makeup and what items you should have on your Makeup bag this season, so clean out the old  and switch up your make-up pallets!

When we think of spring, we think of pastel and nude colors, lots of shimmer, and tons of shades of pink.

So here are this Spring's makeup must-haves:

Lip Balm: Because lips dry out in warmer weather too!

Klorane Dry Shampoo

It is known that we should not wash our hair every day, it is better to wash it  every two or three days  in order to let your hair "breath" and regenerate itself. That said, the feeling of  having heavy and greasy hair is very unpleasant especially for those who have oily hair or hair with oily roots and dry ends!

This dry shampoo by Klorane with oat milk is the perfect solution: it helps to wash your hair without wetting it!

It has moisturizing and softening properties and contains micronised powders with high absorbency potential! This dry shampoo cleans the hair and  you can use it two to three times before washing hair with normal shampoo.  The hair regains volume and lightness within a few seconds! Plus it is formulated without parabens, sulphates or coloring.


How to use it? It is as easy to use as a hairspray! Shake well in order to mix all  its components, then spray a small amount of the product on your hair and speard it evenly. Leave it for 2 minutes, then brush and style your hair as per usual.
It smells good and the results are amazing! your hair is shiny, clean and hydrated! Unlike hairsprays, this dry shampoo does not stick.



Personally, I have been using this product for more than 2 years, It is one of my must-haves, and I am  100% satisfied.

Beauty tips: Castor Oil and its benefits

Castor Oil has been used since ancient times for a variety of conditions and complaints, including hair and skin care. It is one of the best natural oils out there!
Castor Oil is definitely the best ingredient to grow your eyelashes and eyebrows as it is perfect to promote hair growth.You will notice the difference after the first 3 applications! The results are amazing and quick! Apply Castor oil on your eyelashes using a mascara brush, it's actually like applying mascara, do it at night before going to bed, and don't worry Castor Oil does not sting.

Another way to use Castor Oil is as a hair conditioner. Warm up a small amount of pure castor oil and apply it to your hair for at least 15 minutes before shampooing. To create a more pleasant smell and decrease the stickiness of the castor oil, add almond or coconut oil or any other essential oil. The natural fatty acids in castor oil make it a good hair conditioner as it prevents hair loss and relieves the scalp.
If your hair is very dry and damaged, then add a few drops of Castor Oil to your favorite shampoo or conditioner and use them as usual.


Skin softer: Smooth castor oil over the entire body and wash it off in a warm bath to condition skin over the entire body. You can use it on cracked heels and on dry nail beds and cuticles.


This miraculous oil has so many benefits not only for beauty but it can also be used to cure acne, arthritis, constipation etc.

Nude Vs Red Lips

Usually the last touch of makeup you add to glam up your look is lipstick, then comes the dilemma of choosing which color, and two of the hottest trends of the moment are Nude or blood Red lips. These two colors are so beautiful and yet so different because nude and deep red are on totally opposite ends of the spectrum.

Which one to choose?
Well the picture below says it all.

Nude Lips: They are used as a mean to emphasize the rest of the makeup. It is a mass tendency to dress down the lips when we want to pinpoint the effect of the eyes. Howeverthere there are so many shades of nude available that it can be hard to find the right one that actually suits you, well the tip here is to choose the shade according to your features, like the skin tone for example, and avoid looking artificial or too pale.
Tip: Always apply concealer or foundation on your lips before applying the nude lipstick or gloss, it will help "polish" and preserve the color.








Red Lips: They add a touch of glamour to your makeup, Red lips suit perfectly a classy pineup makeup, and just like the nude lips, choose the right shade according to your skin tone, the darker is your skin tone the darker should be the shade choosen.
Tip:Red lipstick on the other hand should not be matched with heavy makeup or red nail polish, because it just takes away all the attention from the lips and it's just too much red.
